Persuasion

So yesterday after gymnastics (the mommy & me one w/ Katie WEARS me out) I put Katie to bed and got Susannah settled downstairs with a movie. I tried to sneak in a nap in my bedroom. Apparently Sannah was looking for companionship, because she came into my room and reminded me that "It's the morning-time, Mommy, WAKE UP!".

We've been working on cooperation skills using phrases like "When you go to the potty, then it will be storytime." She picks up fast on the concept of persuasion, so she evidently took pity on tired mommy and said to me, "When you put on cartoons, I will do peace and quiet to you."

What choice did I have but to cooperate?
